A Weekend of Reflection and Tribute
From May 24th to May 27th, we invite all residents of Chattanooga to join us for a series of events dedicated to honoring our fallen heroes. Here’s what you can expect:
- Window Decorations and Displays: Visit our headquarters to see beautifully decorated windows that tell the stories of local heroes. Each display is a tribute to a soldier, sailor, airman, or Marine from Chattanooga who has distinguishedly served our country. The displays will be set up for safe and comfortable viewing, with clear signage and information about each hero.
- Community Gathering and Candlelight Vigil: On the evening of May 26th, we will host a community gathering at Coolidge Park. The event will feature a moving candlelight vigil where families and friends can share stories and memories of their loved ones. There will be live music, guest speakers, and a moment of silence to honor the fallen.
- Fundraising for Veterans’ Support Organizations: We will raise funds for local veterans’ support organizations throughout the weekend. A portion of all sales from Patriots’ Pride Windows during May will be donated to these organizations.
